Sungjae Im (+1800)

Im comes off a T-5 finish last week in which he led the field with 2.38 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green per round, according to Data Golf. He also gained 1.28 strokes per round on approach but was undone by his 0.81 strokes lost per round on the greens. It was his debut at the Plantation Course at Kapalua, Hawaii, following his first PGA Tour win last year.

He has played eight career rounds at Waialae CC with an average of 1.51 strokes gained per round to rank fourth in this field. He finished 16th in 2019 and 21st last year.

Im needs to be just a little closer to average with the putter at a course where he has played well before. He averaged 0.84 SG: Putting per round last year.
